Placing Site Wide Pay Per Play Ads In Joomla or Mambo
Putting site wide Pay Per Play code into Mambo and Joomla is quite easy. You can do it thru the backend administrator panel and you don''t need FTP. If you want site-wide audio ads, you simply install it in the bottom of your template. Log in to the back end and go to the template you are using. Choose to edit the html and place the code just before the closing body tag which looks something like this: < / body >. (there are spaces placed in this example tag so your browser won''t think its the real closing body tag) If there is not a blank line before this tag, you may want to put one there before you place the code. It''s always a good idea to insert a blank line before you insert any kind of javascript.
Placing Pay Per Play Ads In Joomla or Mambo By Page
If you want audio ads to play only on certain pages, this can be a bit trickier. If you use the "What You See Is What You Get" editor, you will have to choose to edit the page in html. You can click the html icon oi your WYSIWYG editor or you can temporarily turn the editor off in either the ''Global Site Settings'' area, or change it for your account only with the ''User Manager''. The second is the better choice if you have users that submit content and want to switch your WYSIWYG editor off temporarily. Just change the dropdown to ''No WYSIWYG Editor'', or whatever choice indicates that you don''t want to use any kind of editor. Next, in the back end, go back to the pages you want to place ads. Choose to edit the page or article and place the cursor at the end of the article and hit enter to place a new line there. Next just paste the Pay Per Play code and save the article. Don''t forget to change your editor back to the way it was if you changed it. \r\n\r\nALWAYS maintain good backups of your site
